Jabal Amil ( Arabic : جبل عامل , romanized :  Jabal ʿĀmil ), also spelled Jabal Amel and historically known as Jabal Amila , is a cultural and geographic region in Southern Lebanon largely associated with its long-established, predominantly Twelver Shia Muslim inhabitants.
