Lyskovsky District ( Russian : Лы́сковский райо́н ) is an administrative district ( raion ), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast , Russia . Municipally , it is incorporated as Lyskovsky Municipal District . It is located in the east of the oblast on both sides of the Volga River . The area of the district is 2,134 square kilometers (824 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Lyskovo .
