Pals ( Catalan pronunciation: [ˈpals] ) is a medieval town in Catalonia , northern Spain , a few kilometres from the sea in the heart of the Bay of Emporda on the Costa Brava . It lies on the C31 Palafrugell – L'Estartit road.
