Panjin ( simplified Chinese : 盘锦 ; traditional Chinese : 盤錦 ; pinyin : Pánjǐn ) is a coastal prefecture-level city in central Liaoning province , People's Republic of China , situated on the northern shore of the Liaodong Bay . It borders Anshan to the east, Yingkou to the southeast, and Jinzhou to the west and north.
