The Pálava Protected Landscape Area (abbreviated Pálava PLA ; Czech : Chráněná krajinná oblast Pálava , abbreviated CHKO Pálava ) is a protected landscape area and a UNESCO biosphere reserve located in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic , on the border with Austria .
