The Tölzer Knabenchor (Tölz Boys' Choir) is a German boys' choir named after the Upper Bavarian city of Bad Tölz . Since 1971, the group has been based in Munich . The choir is internationally recognised for its programming and direction, having been nominated for a Grammy Award in 1983 .
