Yeravninsky District ( Russian : Ера́внинский райо́н ; Buryat : Яруунын аймаг , Yaruunyn aimag ) is an administrative and municipal district ( raion ), one of the twenty-one in the Republic of Buryatia , Russia . It is located in the east of the republic. The area of the district is 25,600 square kilometers (9,900 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo ) of Sosnovo-Ozerskoye . As of the 2010 Census , the total population of the district was 18,705, with the population of Sosnovo-Ozerskoye accounting for 32.8% of that number.
