Curno ( Bergamasque : Cüren ) is a municipality ( Italian : comune ) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy , located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southwest of Bergamo . As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 7,590 and an area of 4.62 square kilometres (1.78 sq mi).
