The Cape Winelands District Municipality ( Afrikaans : Kaapse Wynland-distriksmunisipaliteit ; Xhosa : uMasipala weSithili sase Cape Winelands ), formerly the Boland District Municipality , is a district municipality located in the Boland region of the Western Cape province of South Africa .
