The Khānabād River ( Pashto : د خان اباد سیند ; Persian : رود خانآباد ) flows in the provinces of Takhar and Kunduz in northern Afghanistan . The Khanabad River is a tributary of the Kunduz River , which is in turn a tributary of the Amu River .
