Köýtendag District (formerly Çarşaňňy District ) is a district of Lebap Province in Turkmenistan . The administrative center of the district is the city of Köýtendag .
5-659: Formed in August 1926 as Charshangi in the then-region of Kerkin, it came under direct control of the Turkmen SSR government in November 1930, when the aforementioned district was abolished.
