The Kobe Municipal Subway ( 神戸市営地下鉄 , Kōbe-shiei chikatetsu ) is a rapid transit system in Kobe , Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Like other large Japanese cities, Kobe's subway system is heavily complemented by suburban rail.
