The Joint Support and Enabling Service ( German : Streitkräftebasis , pronounced [ˈʃtʁaɪ̯tˌkʁɛftəˌbaːzɪs] , abbreviated: SKB, pronounced [ɛskaːˈbeː] ; literally Armed Forces Foundation) is a branch of the German Bundeswehr established in October 2000 as a result of major reforms of the Bundeswehr .
