The Northeastern Statistical Region ( Macedonian : Североисточен Регион ; Albanian : Rajoni verilindor) is one of eight statistical regions in North Macedonia . It borders Kosovo and Serbia to the north and Bulgaria to the east, while internally, it borders the Skopje and Eastern statistical regions.
