The Dnieper Upland or Cisdnieper Upland ( Ukrainian : Придніпровська височина , romanized : Prydniprovska vysochyna ) is a southeastern European plain occupying the territory between the Dnieper and the Southern Bug . It lies in central Ukraine , occupying the oblasts of Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk.
