The Metropoolregio Eindhoven ( MRE ; English: Eindhoven Metropolitan Region ), until 1 January 2014 the Samenwerkingsverband Regio Eindhoven ( SRE ; English: Cooperative union for the Region of Eindhoven ), is a regional governmental agency for the city region of Eindhoven , Netherlands .
