Thalang ( Thai : ถลาง , pronounced [tʰā.lǎːŋ] ); ( Malay : Telong or Tanjung Salang ( Jawi : تلوڠ / تنجوڠ سالڠ ) is a district ( amphoe ) in the north of Phuket province , Thailand .
