Ute Mountain , also known as Ute Peak or Sleeping Ute Mountain ( / ˈ j uː t / ; Ute: Wisuv Káruv , Navajo: Dził Naajiní ), is a peak within the Ute Mountains, a small mountain range in the southwestern corner of Colorado .
