Zharkain District ( Kazakh : Жарқайың ауданы , Jarqaiyñ audany ) is a district of Aqmola Region in northern Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the district is the town of Derzhavinsk . Population: 24,326 (2009 Census results); 15,423 (1999 Census results).
