The Samsung Galaxy S24 is a series of high-end Android -based smartphones developed, manufactured, and marketed by Samsung Electronics as part of its flagship Galaxy S series . They collectively serve as the successor to the Galaxy S23 series. The phones were announced on January 17, 2024, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California and subsequently released on January 31, 2024. The S24 FE was announced on September 26, 2024, and was released on October 3, 2024.
