The Kok River ( Thai : แม่น้ำกก , RTGS :  Mae Nam Kok , pronounced [mɛ̂ː náːm kòk] ) is a tributary river of the Mekong that flows in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai provinces in northern Thailand .
