Tarsky District ( Russian : Та́рский райо́н ) is an administrative and municipal district ( raion ), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast , Russia . It is located in the northeast of the oblast . The area of the district is 15,700 square kilometers (6,100 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Tara (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 19,242 ( 2010 Census ); 22,684 ( 2002 Census ) ; 25,563 ( 1989 Soviet census ) .
