Shangqiu ( Chinese : 商丘 ), alternately romanized as Shangkiu , is a city in eastern Henan province, Central China . It borders Kaifeng to the northwest, Zhoukou to the southwest, and the provinces of Shandong and Anhui to the northeast and southeast respectively.
